West Indies v. Ireland
FIRST ODI - 7th
The West Indies will host Ireland for a full white-ball series of three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals (T20ls) starting on January 7. 2020 with matches in Barbados, Grenada and St. Kitts. This will be the first time Ireland have played the West Indies and t20ls. Barbados will be hosting two ODI games at the cricket mecca of the Caribbean - Oval.

Ireland will be playing the West Indies for their second match in January and will sure be soaking up as much of the sun, sea, sand and cricket in the glorious Caribbean Island.
Barbados Independent Film Festival

The Barbados Independent Film Festival highlights the work of filmmakers, producers and actors from around the world. The Festival provides a platform for independent films that embrace the power of storytelling to inform, inspire and entertain. The Festival will feature films and shorts that celebrate the power of resilience and humankind's ability to overcome adversity.
Barbados Sailing Week
15th - 23rd
The Caribbean race season's opening regatta, the Barbados Sailing Week, formerly Mount Gay Round Barbados Series attracts top class competition with the headlining 60nm Mount Gay Round Barbados Race giving crews a chance to win their skipper's weight in rum if any of the 20 records are broken. The vibe throughout the island is legendary with crowds flocking to the best vantage points to watch the race as it unfolds down the rugged Atlantic coast.
FEBRUARY
Holetown Festival
9th - 16th
The Holetown Festival takes place in Holetown, Barbados, and celebrates the arrival of the first settlers in Holetown on February 17. 1627. The week-long celebration occurs every year during mind-February and includes several activities which showcase the culture and traditions of Barbados. Events include folk singing and dancing sports and games street parades, markets, and food stalls that offer traditional Barbadian cuisine.
Agrofest
21st - 23rd
This is a unique agricultural exhibition where farmer, craftsmen and agriculturalist display their goods and produce in a safe, family-friendly environment, Held annually in Queens Park, the exhibition usually attracts thousands of visitors, over three days, and is the biggest agriculture-based event in Barbados. The exhibition features over two hundred exhibits ranging from livestock and kitchen gardens, toto renewable energy and craft, with healthy servings of food, bird shows, challenges, for kids and culture non-shop!

Sandy Lane Gold Cup

The Sandy Lane Gold Cup is one of the most prestigious events in the Eastern Caribbean hose racing calendar and indeed, the biggest sporting events on the island. Attracting visitors from all over the world, for many years both local and regional jockey have competed here, including some top international hockeys and trainers, with thoroughbred horses from the UK and North America - some owned by the world's leading investor in thoroughbred racing - featured

Sandy International Soccer XXXIII Barbados Cup

The Barbados Cup is the premier invitational soccer tournament of the Caribbean where each year teams from across the globe including the UK participate in this international festival. The participating teams are divided into categories of four; Under 13: Under 15: under 17: and Under 19: and each team will play all the others in its group during the qualifying rounds
Barbados Surf Pro
14th - 19th
The annual WSL Barbados Surf Pro Men and Women's QS3,000 will take place April 16 - 21 on the rugged coasts of Barbados.
Oistins Fish Festival
11th - 13th
The Oistins Fish Festival is on annual event that takes place every Easter weekend in the scenic fishing village of Oistins Barbados in the parish of Christ Church, on the south cost of the island. It is arguably the larges community festival in Barbados with activities for the entire family!
Reggae Festival

The sir Garry Sobers Golf Championship continues to be a premier golfing event in the Caribbean, attracting amateur and professional golf players from all over the world. Spanning over four days, the tournament is played over four world-class golf courses in Barbados.

Ninja Throwdown

Barbados Ninja Throwdown is a local sports entertainment competition that features some obstacles that are seen on the show '' American Ninja Warrior'' with a local twist to them. It encompasses individuals from different disciplines to complete the course in the fastest time possible.

This is the Caribbean region's premiere gospel music and arts festival. The Barbados Gospelfest maintains a standard of excellence second to none and has become a vital festival fixture for the region at large. There are several events in the 2019 festival, covering choral music, jazz, comedy, dance, theatre and event cricket.

SOL Rally Barbados

Sol Rally Barbados is known as the most dynamic three days of rally driving in Barbados and attracts drivers from all over the world. They go head to head with the local talent in challenging public road and off-raod courses. They event has evolved from small beginnings as the international international All-Stage Rally of 1990 into the Caribbean:s biggest annul motor sport international and a key National Event on the island's sports tourism calendar.
International Masters Football Classic

The Barbados International Masters Football Festival is one of the biggest masters football tournaments held in the Caribbean attracting team from the UK North America and neighbouring islands. The festival is held during the Whitsuntide weekend every year with two divisions ( over 40s and over 50s) vying for . bragging rights and the championship trophy.

The Choir Experience

Developed in partnership with the BTMI and Glofest International. The Choir Experience is a day workshop, social and performance event that will take place on the island in the weeks following the popular Barbados Gospelfest with a ' Gold' Brunch talking place to round off events on the fourth day. Delegates will spend3 days under the tutelage of none other than the Godfather of UK Gospel and European Gospel Choir pioneer Bazil Meade MBE up world class choir conductors including Karen Gibson and the Grammy award winning Donald Lawrence.

Crop Over Festival
Crop Over Festival celebrates a 200 year old tradition that honours the end of the sugar cane season. This summer festival celebrates all that is Bajan with dusk till dawn parties, music, arts and crafts markets and culinary-driven street fares, and culminates on Grand Kadooment Day, the island's most exciting day of the year, as Masquerade Bands make their way to Spring Garden Highway with revellers dressed in sequin costumes and dancing behind music trucks.

KC Barbados 2020 Vision Charity Golf Tournament

To build awareness of the disease for World Sight Day on October 10th. Keratoconus Barbados has collaborated with Ontario Visually Impaired Golfers (OVIG) who will be hosting a blind golf workshop for a group of sight-impaired Barbadian children for the time on the island. Lead by professional blind golfers Andrew Gilford from the UK and Bob Banks from the US, this will be followed by the inaugural KC Barbados 2020 Vision Charity Golf Tournament with the important message "You don't have to see to tee" on October 12th hosted at the Barbados Golf Club.Â
